EMPLOY participants can perform some or all of these functions:

• Verify data and prepare materials for printing
• Using keyboard or scanning device, enter data from source documents into computer or onto tape or disk for subsequent entry
• Compare data entered with source documents
• Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data
• Keep record of completed work
• Load machine with required input or output media, such as paper, cards, disk, tape or Braille media
• File completed documents
• Resolve garbled or indecipherable messages, using cryptographic procedures and equipment
• Re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
