EMPLOY Barbers provide customers with barbering services including cutting and trimming hair, and shaving and styling beards and moustaches. May also wave or tint hair and provide other hair and scalp treatments.
EMPLOY participants can perform some or all of these functions:
- Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
- Cut, shape, trim and taper hair using clippers, comb, blow-out gun, and scissors
- Shave and trim beards and moustaches
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to color, frost or streak hair
- Perform other tonsorial services, such as applying hairdressings or lotions, dyeing, shampooing, singeing, or styling hair, and massaging face, neck, or scalp
- Record service charge on ticket or receives payment
- Clean work area and work tools
- Order supplies
